insurance
& billing.
We believe premium dental care should be accessible. While we do not operate a cashless insurance facility, we provide complete transparency in our pricing and full support for your reimbursement claims.
how insurance works here
In India, most private dental clinics, including My Dentist, operate on a pay-and-claim model rather than providing cashless or direct-billing services.
This means you will pay the clinic directly for your treatment at the time of service. If you have a corporate health insurance policy that covers dental procedures (OPD dental coverage), you can then submit a claim to your insurance provider to be reimbursed.
we help you claim
We know dealing with insurance paperwork can be frustrating. While we cannot guarantee what your specific policy will cover, our front desk team is dedicated to making the reimbursement process as easy as possible for you.
- We provide detailed, itemized bills with proper medical coding.
- We issue official stamped receipts for all payments.
- Our doctors will fill out and sign any necessary pre-authorization or claim forms provided by your insurance company.
- We can provide copies of diagnostic X-rays to support your claim.

billing FAQs
Will my insurance cover my treatment?
It depends entirely on your specific policy. Most standard health insurance in India covers hospitalization but does not cover routine dental OPD (Outpatient Department) procedures. However, many corporate group policies do have a dental allowance. Please check with your HR department or insurance provider.
Are cosmetic procedures covered?
Almost all insurance companies consider treatments like Teeth Whitening and Veneers to be purely cosmetic and will not cover them. Treatments required for medical reasons (like Root Canals or extractions) are more likely to be eligible for reimbursement.
When is payment due?
Payment is typically due at the time of service. For multi-visit treatments (like a crown or a denture), we usually require a portion of the payment at the first visit to begin lab work, and the remaining balance upon final delivery.
